Awareness Campaign on Domestic Violence

On April 23 at 2:30 p.m., the Santo Amaro Cultural and Youth Center in Laranjeiro will host an important awareness campaign dedicated to the issue of domestic violence.

The initiative, organized in partnership with UMAR—União de Mulheres Alternativa e Resposta—and focused on safeguarding fundamental rights and promoting active citizenship, aims to equip participants with tools to identify early warning signs and risk factors. During the session, the main aspects of this social phenomenon will be addressed, as well as the protective measures and support networks available to victims.

The event serves as a space for clarification and discussion, facilitating understanding of prevention mechanisms and current legal resources. The session will take place at Estrada dos Álamos, No. 2810-260, and participation is open to the entire community.
