Ad Sumus launches new Community Psychology service in Almada

Ad Sumus – Associação de Imigrantes de Almada (Almada Immigrants Association) is expanding its community response with the launch of a new Community Psychology service, designed to provide accessible psychological support to the immigrant population and the local community.

This service stems from a growing awareness of the importance of mental health and the need for inclusive, culturally sensitive responses that are close to the people. The initiative offers flexible hours and a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment, ensuring that anyone can seek help with peace of mind.

Psychological support is especially intended for:

  • People who seek to be listened to with respect and empathy;
  • Those who wish to start or resume a process of psychological counseling;
  • Those who have never had access to this type of service and need guidance to take the first step.

With this new offer, Ad Sumus reinforces its commitment to promoting inclusion, well-being, and equitable access to essential health services, especially among the immigrant population.
