3rd edition of the ‘Almada Gentes com História’

On 13 December, AD SUMUS promoted the 3rd edition of the ‘Almada Gentes com História’ Gala, a Christmas charity event, which took place at the Santo Amaro Cultural and Youth Centre in Laranjeiro, Almada municipality.

The main purpose of this initiative was to collect essential goods for children aged 0 to 3 years old from vulnerable migrant families, contributing to improving their living conditions and well-being.

The event was also an opportunity to recognise and value the role of volunteers, highlighting their contribution to the solidarity actions carried out throughout the year. At the same time, it aimed to strengthen community and intergenerational ties, as well as to pay tribute to migrant citizens of the municipality of Almada who stand out for their commitment and contribution in various areas of community life.
