Awareness-raising session on the right to vote

Another awareness-raising event was held in partnership with ACEDA – Associação Cívica para a Educação e Desenvolvimento da Cidadania. The aim of the initiative was to inform and make participants aware of the importance of voting as a civic duty and a fundamental instrument of democratic participation.

During the session, topics such as who can vote, how the electoral process works, and the importance of civic participation in the country’s decisions were addressed. The activity included moments of open dialog, clarification of doubts and sharing of experiences.

The action had a strong educational component, encouraging active and responsible citizenship. The collaboration with ACEDA made it possible to enrich the content presented, making the session more dynamic and closer to the realities experienced by homeless citizens.
