AD SUMUS promotes awareness session on migration at Garcia de Orta Hospital

On March 27, 2025, AD SUMUS held an awareness-raising session at the Garcia de Orta Hospital in Almada, aimed at technicians and social workers. The main aim of this initiative was to train professionals who work directly with migrants, providing them with essential tools and knowledge to deal with the legal and social challenges faced by this population.

Participants had the opportunity to discuss practical cases, exchange experiences and reflect on how they can improve care for migrant populations within the hospital and in other public services.

AD SUMUS, as an organization committed to human rights and social inclusion, reinforces with this action the importance of awareness-raising and continuous training for professionals who work with migrants. The participants highlighted the relevance of the initiative, mentioning that the knowledge acquired will be essential for improving the work carried out on a daily basis with migrant communities. AD SUMUS will continue to promote actions like this, reinforcing its commitment to a fairer and more inclusive society.
