Portuguese Society for Health Literacy supports families assisted by AD SUMUS with essential goods
The Portuguese Society for Health Literacy (SPLS), Missão Continente, and Egas Moniz School of Health & Science provided food products and hygiene supplies to AD SUMUS – Immigrants Association of Almada, within the scope of the ACOLHER Programme.
This support made it possible to strengthen the food baskets distributed to families assisted by the association’s food bank, contributing to the improvement of their living conditions and overall well-being.
AD SUMUS also expresses its appreciation for the partnership established in the area of community capacity building, with a particular focus on promoting health literacy and facilitating access to healthcare services for the migrant community. The association would also like to extend special thanks to Dr. Cristina Vaz de Almeida, Dr. Renata Benavente, from the Almada City Council, and Professor Hélio Bragança da Silva, from Egas Moniz School of Health & Science, for their support and collaboration.
