Ad Sumus at the meeting with the President of the Republic of Cape Verde!

Our colleague Maria Tavares had the honor of representing Ad Sumus at an event promoted by the Presidency of the Republic of Cape Verde, which brought together association leaders in Lisbon to exchange ideas and reflect on the challenges and achievements of the Cape Verdean community in Portugal.

During the meeting, key issues were discussed, such as the difficulties of integration and legalization, community organization, political participation, as well as the success stories of associations. The needs of Cape Verdean students and the challenges faced by evacuees were also addressed.

Ad Sumus reaffirms its commitment to continue working to strengthen our community, promoting inclusion, participation and development in both Portugal and Cape Verde.

The President of the Republic challenged the associations to think about creating federations to pool efforts and achieve broader and more significant results.

We are very proud to take part in this exchange of ideas that reinforces the strength of our community and inspires a future of unity and prosperity!
