Oral Health Awareness Session with the Association of Health and Solidarity of the Cape Verdean Diaspora (ASSDCV)
On January 8, at the Casa Amarela Cultural and Youth Center, an oral health awareness session took place, led by Dr. Andredina Cardoso from the Association of Health and Solidarity of the Cape Verdean Diaspora (ASSDCV).
During the session, topics such as proper toothbrushing techniques, the importance of oral health, and its impact on overall well-being were discussed. Although good oral hygiene is essential, access to oral healthcare and treatments is still not available to everyone, highlighting the importance of awareness, information, and prevention initiatives within the community.
AD SUMUS would like to thank Dr. Andredina Cardoso and ASSDCV for their availability and contribution to creating a space of well-being, sharing, and care for our service users.
