Women, Multiple Roles, and Mental Health

On October 18th, a meeting was held at the Centro Cultural e Juvenil de Santo Amaro (Casa Amarela), focused on the theme “Women, Multiple Roles, and Mental Health”, organized in partnership with the Association for Health and Solidarity of the Cape Verdean Diaspora.

The event aimed to reflect on self-care, quality of life, and the daily challenges faced by many women who balance multiple personal, professional, and family responsibilities.

During the session, the importance of effectively managing daily tasks and the essential role of women in raising children, often assumed individually and with great dedication, was highlighted.

The meeting emphasized that taking care of oneself is also an act of caring for others.
