Dissemination event for the “Si, SONO IO” project
The dissemination event for the “Si, SONO IO – Female Personal Development Program for Equal Opportunities” project was held today. This initiative is part of the Erasmus+ program and its main objective is to promote inclusion, employability and equal opportunities for women in situations or at risk of social vulnerability.
This project, which began in September 2023, has developed a series of information, awareness-raising and training actions aimed at strengthening the participants’ personal, social and professional skills. The intervention is aimed in particular at immigrant women who are unemployed or have precarious employment relationships, as well as women in a situation of social isolation.
During the event, the project’s main lines of action were presented, with two essential aspects being highlighted:
- Personal: promoting training activities that encourage the development of technical and professional skills, reinforcing education, employability and female entrepreneurship as a means of financial autonomy and integration into the job market.
- Social aspect: encouraging civic participation and involvement in volunteer initiatives, strengthening digital literacy and social inclusion, with the aim of reducing inequalities and increasing access to fundamental rights such as education, employment and democratic participation.
The initiative was attended by local and international partners, reinforcing the importance of networking to create effective and sustainable solutions to promote gender equality.
