Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and Launch of Services at the São Rafael Immigrant Assistance Center

May 30 marked the official opening of the São Rafael Immigrant Assistance Center in Amora, a moment formalized by the signing of a collaboration agreement between Ad Sumus, the Parish of Amora, the Scalabrinian Laity, and the Personal Parish for Migrants of the Diocese of Setúbal.

This agreement establishes institutional cooperation among the entities, with Ad Sumus assuming responsibility for providing technical services and specialized support to migrant citizens. The inaugural session was attended by partners and representatives from the various institutions, united by the common goal of strengthening reception and integration efforts in the region.

With the signing of this protocol, the Ad Sumus technical team immediately began providing services at the facility, establishing the following hours and channels of operation:

• Appointments: Mondays, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, by calling 963 859 973.

• Technical Services: Thursdays, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

• Location: São João Batista Scalabrini Church (Nova Igreja da Amora).

We express our deep gratitude to all the entities involved for this vote of confidence and for their commitment to bringing to fruition a project so fundamental to the social cohesion of our community.
