“Tea, Coffee & Stories” with the Association of Health and Solidarity of the Cape Verdean Diaspora (ASSDCV): a gathering dedicated to health and well-being.
On July 24th, AD SUMUS successfully held the first session of the “Tea, Coffee & Stories” initiative, part of the Nha Codê project, under the Immigrant Associativism Support Program (PAAI) by AIMA.
The meeting took place at the Laranjeiro Parish Council, bringing together several women from the community in a warm atmosphere of sharing and active listening. The informal conversation was led by Dr. Frederico from the Association of Health and Solidarity of the Cape Verdean Diaspora (ASSDCV), a partner in this initiative.
During the session, various questions about women’s health were raised, with emphasis on cancer prevention, key risk factors, and the importance of a balanced diet, emotional self-care, and a healthy lifestyle.
AD SUMUS thanks all participants and reaffirms its commitment to the well-being of the community.
